MAL PGDP 5101: MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP

The course provides students with effective managerial skills that will facilitate improved organizational performance in the dynamic era. Specifically, the course will address the following; meaning and functions of management, the evolution of management, the planning function, the organizing function, effective organizational communication skills, leadership theory and practice, delegation and time management, managing organizational conflict, stress management, motivation theory and practice, problem solving and decision making, performance management, organizational ethics and integrity, managerial control, team building, management of change and management of organizational culture.
