IPCE RECH 3209: INSTITUTIONAL POLICIES AND CHAPLAINCY ETHICS

The course introduces the student to the relevant policies, legal issues and procedures
upon which chaplaincy institutions operate, in conjunction with Government statutes
and regulations that govern the operations of such institutions and how they directly or
indirectly affect a chaplain. The course further considers a range of moral theories and
principles that provide the basis for the thoughtful consideration of specific ethical issues within the professional conduct and behavior of a chaplain in the course of duty within the various contexts of chaplaincy.
