BCHN II BNSC 311: CHILD HEALTH NURSING II

This course prepares students with knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for the care of children with conditions that commonly affect newborns including those affecting the different body systems. In specific terms, the course covers causes, signs and symptoms, prevention and management of common medical conditions that affect newborns with disorders or malformations of the respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, lymphatic, nervous and the Integumentary systems.
