This course prepares students with specialized clinical skills necessary to practice as a registered nurse in the oncology setting caring for people with cancer and their families. It covers cancer disease processes and treatments options and the outcomes of these treatments. In addition, it incorporates use of palliative care for patients with cancer and other illnesses
