At the end of this course students will be able to describe key concepts related to Primary Health Care, explain its rationale and be able to explain factors that are known to ensure successful implementation of PHC. They should be able to analyze the PHC policy and implement appropriate actions. They should be able to demonstrate proper understanding of the concept of community health, articulate the role of people as active participants of individual health and thereafter community health. Students will be able to apply the community health provinces to the different age groups of people as well as substance abuse behaviors. They should be able to explain the different environmental factors that influence community health.
