Prerequisite Pass with C in GECL 1101
This course is an introductory study to the grammar of English. Students will be introduced to the word classes in English and their functionality in syntactic structures. Much time will be devoted to sentence analysis using traditional grammar diagrams.
Emphasis will be placed on simple sentences.
