This course covers a wide range
of tools, machines and equipment used in various branches of agriculture such
as horticultural crops, livestock, food and feed handling, storage and processing. Emphasis will be put on structures and
functioning of the internal combustion engine. The practical aspect will look at the
different parts of internal combustion engine, tractor driving, hitching
equipment on tractor, general identification and use of tools, machines and
equipment found on the farm. Field trips
will be made to garage and mechanized farms.
