This course introduces learners to the principles of cryptography and its integration with secure network protocols. It explores classical and modern encryption techniques, cryptographic algorithms, and the role of cryptography in securing communication protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, and HTTPS. Learners will engage in problem-based and scenario-driven activities to apply cryptographic tools, assess protocol vulnerabilities, and simulate secure communication in networks. Ethical considerations in cryptographic use, digital rights, and lawful interception are also explored to foster responsible cybersecurity practice.
