PGY BNSC 2110: PATHOPHYSIOLOGY (3 CU)

 Pr-requisite Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2.

This is an integration of human anatomy, physiology and biochemistry and addresses principles of general pathology aimed at enabling students to understand the mechanism of disease process. It covers the etiology, pathogenesis, pathological changes and complication of the disease process affecting various body systems. It will also presents the role of the nurse in carrying our various assessment procedures for the management of disease conditions.
