The contents of the course will expose a student to various concepts concerning gender in the local government. In this course the content focuses on women, youth and children. It also highlights on the aspects of legal and policy framework for gender, institutional framework, role of Councilors and technical officers in promoting gender issues in the local government. Participant will also be able to discover the Setup of Women in the Councils and the establishment of youth councils at different levels in the government.
